The first move at Microsofts E3 event was from the guys at Ubisoft, we got a first glance at the new ‘Splinter Cell: Blacklist’. In the demo we saw Sam Fisher doing what we know splinter cell best for, taking on the mass of bad guys and beating them.
The main details we know is that there has been a series of black list attacks around the world and that it is Sam’s job to find the culprits and deal with them. In the demo we joined Sam on the border of Iraq and Iran, looking to infiltrate the terrorist camp, during the gameplay we saw a new type of shooting mode called ‘Killing in Motion’; this slows the game play down and allows users to take precise shots at enemies, we also saw new integration of free running and movement around the map, just some of the features we cant wait to test out.
One main selling point of the new Splinter Cell is the integration of Kinect Voice, this allows the gamer to call to unsuspecting enemies in order to gain their attention, and then take them down. Kinect voice can also be used to shout orders to your team, the integration of voice orders is something we look forward to seeing and testing.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is due for release in Spring 2013.
