Top 6 Events We Saw At E3 2012

E3 2012 was yet again another great event, detailing some of the very best in gaming and giving everybody something to look forward to for the year coming; it is at this point that we looked back and sorted our top 6 events we saw at E3 2012, enjoy!

6) Microsoft: Smart Glass

This was Microsofts brand new seamless streaming service between all its devices, this allows trouble free interaction between a windows phone and Xbox. As demoed at their conference, this will allow you to watch a film on your Xbox whilst relevant details and information is presented on your windows phone, something we cant wait to have a go with and see if it works just as well as it seems.

5) Splinter Cell: BlackList

Possibly one of the most unexpected surprises during the Microsoft conference is when they demoed this, It showed brutally good combat mixed with amazing Kinect functionality, all of which makes it one of the most exciting things to come out of this years E3.

4) Halo 4

One of Xbox’s best selling series, Halo 4 marks the return of Master Chief. This new Halo is also being taken over by a new development team, gone are Bungie and in are the guys at 343 studios. Check back for more updates and expect a full review when this is released on November 6.

3) Assassins Creed 3

This truly is one of the most exciting games due for release this year. There was a lot of questioning about how Ubisoft would deal with almost a revamp of the Assassins Creed series, however after the seeing this latest demo there is for sure an excitement surrounding this new game.

2) The Last of Us 

It would seem that Naughty Dog, the people behind the Uncharted series, have yet again blown other game companies out the water with this next adventure game. little detail is known fully about the game however we do know that it is set in a post apocalyptic world which is displayed in incredibly graphics.

1) Wii U

This is very exciting for any classic gaming fan, the Wii U is almost a must buy and is very important in Nintendo’s future. This new console marks a point in which the Wii may start to become competitive with the PS3 and Xbox; sure the Wii is great for a bit of fun, however lacks any serious gaming. This idea of becoming more of a competitive gaming console was on reiterated with the reveal of the Wii u Pro Controller.
